Many of these children sleep under cold pavements, survive on leftovers, and wake up each morning unsure of what the day will bring. At Mission Of Hope Foundation Uganda TOGETHER WITH Save Uganda Orphans And Windows Foundation, we believe no child deserves to live this way. Each one of them is precious full of potential, talent, and dreams waiting to be discovered. That’s why we make it our mission to reach out to street children, not just with food and clothes, but with love, care, and hope for a better tomorrow. Our Visit To The Streets On our recent outreach, our team walked through several corners of the city. Meeting children where they are. We listened to their stories, shared meal, offered words of encouragement, and prayed together. The smiles we saw, even after all they’ve been through, reminded us that hope still lives. it just needs someone to awaken it. For many of these children, a simple meal or a kind word can restore faith in humanity. some opened up about how they ended up on the streets. after losing parents, facing abuse, or being forced to fend for themselves at a young age. These moments remind us why we do what we do. Because every visit changes a life, every hug heals a heart, and every act kindness brings light where there was darkness. Our goal is not just to feed children for a day, but to restore their future.Through our programs, we aim to help them find shelter, education and spiritual growth. Twitter Linkedin Facebook Whatsapp The Reality We Face Daily, many Ugandan children, particularly orphans and vulnerable children, go to sleep hungry. At MOHF-Ug we offer them more than a place to stay or an education, we try to give them love, care, and what is the most basic of all needs, food. But with increasing costs and more children in need, we can’t do this alone. Why We Need Your Help It is our goal to begin doing this by August of this year for all children we serve, to provide them daily with a healthy meal. Just having a simple plate of food, keeps them strong and healthy, keeps them focused on school, and rebuilds hope for their future. Make sure that: Each child enjoys daily nourishing food.
